Yes- we can use your tax returns or bank statements for verification.
A common question is how much income do I need to prove in order to qualify? A simple rule of thumb is we like to see monthly gross income of at least 3x the rent. So for a non-W-2 applicant, this will mean we will look at your bank account for a history of sufficient monthly deposits, and/or tax returns for the same information.
Applicants who have a majority of their income paid in cash will need to be able to verify this through their bank statements and being able to show a successful history of paying rent in an amount similar to the property being applied for.
