s a licensed real estate agent, you may be working with a potential renter who wants to be able to view one of WILMOTH Group's available rentals. If so, here are your instructions.

While non-represented renters utilize the showing system as linked to on our website listings, the process is different if you are a Realtor and expect compensation. First, this article is written prior to changes in agency to take place in August 2024. At this date, we are not clear if representing a tenant will be the same as representing a buyer. Either way, we recommend you align your compensation to be paid by the renter.

WILMOTH Group lists all rentals on the MLS (BLC) services. It is expected that any agent representing a tenant, schedule the showing utilizing the showing method utilized in the MLS (BLC) system. For instance, in Indianapolis, this will be Broker Bay.

Until there is clarity on the new agency rules, WILMOTH Group will not provide compensation to an agent who does not schedule the showing through the appropriate MLS (BLC) system.
